A peaceful and secluded plain outside of Soto La Marina, All-Souls is the final resting ground for many. Funded and maintained by the Vatican, those seeking internment for their relatives or themselves need only arrange a plot with the caretaker.

History[]

As Soto La Marina grew, so did the need for consecrated ground. Up until that time, residents had simply buried their dead where they could, which led to water contamination and some graves being lost.Concerned about the body as well as the soul, the Vatican would step in, and set aside a dozen acres outside of town, consecrating it on May 2nd, 2210. It would fill steadily as time went by, with residents burying where ever they pleased, sometimes feet-to-feet with other caskets.

This would result in several complaints of families being unable to visit the grave of their loved one because it was wedged in by other graves, To resolve this, a caretaker was appointed in 2234 to map out empty and filled plots, and rebury the ones wedged in as needed. While some murmured at the digging up of bodies resting for a decade, most were happy that the cemetery was organized. All-Souls was expanded by another dozen acres after this, and things would continue peacefully until a wave of desecration started around 2248.

Angry and disturbed, the caretaker called for Los Caballeros Santos to help. The knights conducted a thorough investigation, including stake-outs, before catching a group of grave-robbers. After this the cemetery would remain peaceful, with the caretakers occasionally being replaced. It is currently petitioning for expansion, and trying to hire another caretaker.
