Black Prairie
Black Prairie Plantation
General Information
"To be a poor man is hard, but to be a poor race in a land of dollars is the very bottom of hardships."
W. E. B. Du Bois
The land of the Black Prairie in northern Mississippi is a genuine mess of overgrown woods and pockets of great activity and warfare. It was once part of the Black Belt; the stretch of dark soil reaching all the way to Delaware. The treacherous serenity of the north, riddled with the remains of ancient plantations, is a stark contrast against the état de guerre devastating the ruins of the south. There lies the sub-region of the Golden Triangle, a once heavily disputed land unified by the intentions of a grand enemy.
