Heavily travelled through and full of opportunity, the border country of old Tamaulipas runs from the Gulf of Mexico in the east to the former Gustavo Diaz Municipality in the west where The Northwestern Corridor is generally agreed to begin. Full of brutal lawlessness, upstart towns, and passionate men and women trying to restore the Old World. Not as dangerous as the corridor yet not as stable as Cattle Country, the Border Country is one of the most diverse and interesting regions in Tamaulipas.
