History[]

Wallace Tomspash, an opportunistic merchant, first traveled to Thrilladelphia  in 2261 to sell a wagon full of treated leather to the raiders. Despite the rough treatment he initially received, Tomsplash knew there was a burgeoning market in the raider camp, and thought of ways to tap into it. Figuring the best way is to keep it simple, Tomspash gathered pistols and parts, and in 2253 brought his wagon to the camp where he bought a stall and a shed.

He quickly recuperated his initial investment and fees, and capitalized by hiring a slave to handle some of the labor. While he would be initially suspicious about 'Sweepy', Tomsplash grew to trust him over the years, and starting in 2268 began to teach him how to machine parts and install them. Pistolvania would do steady business during this time, as travelers as well as locals seemed in constant need of guns and ammo, though the latter was sporadic in it's shipments.

The shop has since stood through snow, rain and summer, as well as rowdy raiders and their camp followers, necessitating a tight ledger being kept to track how much gets stolen, compared to profit. Despite this, Pistolvania was scouting locations for expansion and ammo production, but the combination of a firebombing and being undercut has cancelled those plans. The original stand is still operating though it's operators seem a little gray at the edges.

Amenities & Features[]

Pistolvania features a selection of pistols and sub-machine guns as well as attachments for them and maintenance if needed. They do not sell ammunition since being fire bombed, though will often point customers to other vendors. The shop has sponsored fighters in the arena, though they will often back losers, which does little to help their brand.
